Description of Action

The CRA Board recently approved funding for the West Dania Beach Blvd. construction project.  Funding being used for this project originated with a transfer of funds from the City’s General Fund to the CRA.

Finance Department discussions with the CRA Director indicate that a substantial portion of this project’s cost relate to needed stormwater infrastructure improvement costs.  Stormwater costs should most properly be paid for and funded from the City’s Stormwater Fund. 

Finance has prepared a budget transfer moving funds from the Stormwater Fund back to the General Fund for this CRA funded project.

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary
